Field Trips for Schools and organisations

This fun, informative and practical visit to ClayArt takes between 1 hour to 1½ hours depending on the age of the children, the number of people in the group, and the pottery you choose to paint.

We tailor the content of the visit to suit your requirements, and will agree this with you in advance.

For most of the visit everyone will decorate their own piece of ‘bisque’ pottery from your chosen pottery selection. We also donate an extra piece of pottery which everyone can help decorate, which will be a souvenir of your visit. 

We welcome bookings from school groups (of up to 32 children) on school days. 

We are also available early evenings for Brownies, Cubs etc so you can visit us at your normal meeting time.

Group Prices:
For pre-booked non-profit groups visiting us on a schoolday, or evening, we are able to offer these special fully inclusive prices:

To paint an 8" plate, or a cereal bowl, or a standard mug - £7.50 per person.

A tile painting session - £5.00 per person.

Prices for other items are available on request.

We glaze and fire your painted pottery; finished items are ready for collection in  7 days.

If you prefer to do the activity at your venue we can come along to you or we can provide take-away kits.  Prices are the same.
