Wrapping up 2020

The end of the year is drawing near, and here at ClayArt the last pre-Christmas kiln is full of Santas and Snowmen, ready to make someone happy in couple of days.

We tend to reflect a bit more, perhaps, on the year that is just about to end, recalling our successes, as well as drawing up a list of new targets to be hit in next creative season.

This particular year sure was testing for all of us and it lead to new ideas and services taking shape to improve recommended safety guidelines, allowing to keep our studio customers comfortable and at ease. We also gave the studio premises a wonderful face lift, receiving many compliments from all the local folks!

We re-thought our booking system, increased sanitation of the work surfaces, installed portable safety screens, kitted the whole team with face shields and most importantly, installed powerful ventilation system that allows us to change the air in the studio 5 times every hour! The fans even got named!

Natasha has launched Pottery To Your Porch service - a home delivery service that allows the creative folks who wish to stay at home to continue on their creative path from the comfort of their homes, and we are happy to report, that this service remains popular.

The upkeep of the studio premises has also been seen to - we installed a wonderful new and sleek shop signage, which, teamed with newly painted shop window (a mammoth task, let me tell you), makes us really proud to come to work every morning, as it shines like a blue and white beacon! At the back of the studio, where not many people go, our kiln room got painted also, so we can see what we're up to better, back door is smart again, matching the front of the studio.

We would also love to thank all our customers for their enormous support during this year, because without customers, one has no business. We welcomed many locals, who come and see us with their families on regular basis, as well as many visitors to our lovely city who chose to holiday in Devon this year, and a visit to ClayArt was on their holiday wish list. Thank you all, from the bottom of our heart, because all the custom we got, big or small, really helped to keep our faith and positivity, when the times are not as usual.

The entire ClayArt team would like to thank all our patrons

for their support this past season, and we hope to welcome as many of you back as we can in the New Year 2021.

Bellow are selection of photographs documenting our changes and improvements to the studio during the past year. Hope you like them!
